We Should All Be Feminist by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

23301805I had previously watched the TED Talk that this book is based on before reading this and I think if I’d read this first, my rating would be more favourable.

In this small book, the author discusses her beliefs surrounding feminism and her experiences as a Nigerian woman. I think although the book is really interesting, I like that when you watch Chimamanda speak you get more of the audience reaction so this was missing that for me.

Overall I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for something that quite plainly talks about the need for feminism but personally I preferred watching the author speak to reading this book.

3 out of 5 stars!
