I read another book in this series earlier in the year and although I had a lot of problems with it, I wanted to give this format another shot. This is a graphic novel short story collection and although I still think that the stories were underdeveloped because they were so short, I enjoyed this collection a little more than the previous one.
I found the artwork and the overarching concept of magical doors to be very intriguing and some of the stories in here, I just wish they were full length graphic novels. I would recommend this book if you want an introduction to a range of graphic novels artists but don’t go into it expecting something in depth.
