April Wrap Up!

The Blue Donkey Fables by Suniti Namjoshi

This was an interesting little collection of short stories and poems in a fable style that discussed themes of feminism, sexuality and race. I do feel like some meaning was a little lost on me but I did enjoy it.

Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman

This was an amazing book to listen to on audiobook because of Neil Gaiman’s narration but the world building is by far was my favourite aspect of the novel.

Compton Valance, the Most Powerful Boy in the Universe by Matt Brown

This was a quick and funny children’s book with brilliant illustrations that I think would appeal to a lot of young readers!

Jay-Jay the Supersonic Bus by Sue Wickstead

This is a fun and bright moralistic story that would be perfect for parents wanting to read to their children!
