Quidditch Through the Ages by Kennilworthy Whisp (J.K.Rowling) (BEDA #4)

This is the first book that I chose to read for the 7in7Readathon (reading 7 books in 7 days).

This is one of the Comic Relief books that J.K.Rowling released (along with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and The Tales of Beedle the Bard) under the pseudonyms of wizard authors.

I really enjoyed this book. It gave a lot of interesting information pertaining to the wizarding sport of Quidditch and I definitely enjoyed reading it. It had the feel of a non-fiction book, which is exactly what you want from something like this. Rowling never ceases to amaze with the depth of the world she has created and the detail that she puts into something that is just supplementary to the main Harry Potter series.

Overall if you enjoy Harry Potter you should definitely read this book. The illustrations really help to bring the book to life and the foreword from Albus Dumbledore gives a more authentic feel, considering that the physical book is made to look like a Hogwarts library loan.
